During the month, workers of the plant removed garbage and whitewashed trees in the territories assigned to the enterprise, such as Auezov, Mukanov, Shamin, Sharipov, Sandy Streets; on both sides of Azattyk Avenue – from houses No. 122/130 and up to microdistrict Balykshi, including residential yards; along Kabdolov Avenue – from Peretaski to the turn to Atambayev Street, on both sides of the road. They cleaned the area around and inside the Mirnyi settlement, between the sanitary protection zone of the plant and settlement.

       According to employees, participation in mass clean-up events is an important part of social responsibility.

– We, employees of the plant, like all other residents of the city, are responsible for cleanliness in our beloved Atyrau and are obliged to support the city authorities in such events. The Saturday voluntary work day (subbotnik) is the same team building, but with even greater benefits: we worked in the fresh air, talked with colleagues we hadn't seen for a long time, met guys from other industries, and most importantly, did good for the ecology of the region. I would like to urge all Atyrau residents not to litter on the streets and always take the initiative to participate in such events,- said Amangul Nursultanovna, an asset management specialist.

2 dump trucks and 1 loader were involved in each Saturday voluntary work.  During the bimonthly sanitary cleaning event, employees of Atyrau Refinery LLP collected and removed more than 100 m3 of garbage from urban areas. The organizer of environmental action was the City Department of Housing and Municipal Services, Passenger Transport and Highways.
