Technical library operates throughout all history of the Atyrau refinery. It exhibits the main publications on the basic sciences and branches of knowledge of company. Part of the research fund is domestic and foreign magazines in different subjects. Readers traditionally take the book in hard copy, and since the beginning of 2009 an electronic library was created, it works in «on-line» mode. Currently the fund of electronic library has over 1500 books. All refinery workers, their children, students and pupils use service of refinery’s library.
The library has a developed system of catalogs, which fully shows its fund. It includes: alphabetic and systematic catalogs, catalog of textbooks and electronic catalog. It exhibits the main publications on the basic sciences and branches of knowledge. The library gratefully accepts private collections of books.
It’s carried out itemized list of periodicals, received to the library, and the content of the books.
